Short version: the public site sets no cookies, and we do not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking.

What we use

Sign-in cookies (names begin with "sb-")Keep a creator signed in to their dashboard. Set only after a successful sign-in link is used; not set for visitors.Strictly necessary. Session-based, refreshed while signed in, removed on sign out.

Shortlist (browser local storage, key "mc-saved")Remembers the creators you saved so the shortlist survives a page reload on the same device.Functional, on your device only. Never sent to us. Clear it by clearing site data or removing creators from the shortlist.

What we do not use

No analytics cookies, no advertising or retargeting cookies, no social-media pixels and no third-party tracking. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which involves a request to Google for the font files but sets no cookies on this site. Some profiles embed a YouTube or Vimeo video, a Spotify or Apple Podcasts player, or a Substack or beehiiv subscribe box; we use YouTube's no-cookie player and Vimeo's do-not-track mode, and those providers only set cookies if you interact with the embed. Because there are no optional cookies there is nothing to manage and we show no cookie banner. If that ever changes, this page will be updated first and any optional cookies will be off until you agree to them.

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the sign-in cookie means creators cannot stay signed in to the dashboard; the public site works without any cookies at all. Questions go to index@militarycreator.com.
